![]() ![]() ![]() To my mind the 9mm is just too light to be a really effective round where i need the other guy to drop out of the fight super quick. I could certainly clear a confined area such as a house with the two rifles mentioned in the title of the post but they would not be my choice if I had access to any of the above. Shotgun w/00 buckshot, that is nine 32.cal pellets of love with each trigger pull. I have run through live fire houses in the past. If you look at what most real world LE and military CQB teams carry, it would be a pistol, (I like a 1911), MP5 or MP10, Shotgun, which can be used as a breaching tool, possibly less lethal, and a M4 with a short 11" barrel. CQB requires a short, light easily manuverable weapon. Both the 5.56 X45 and the 7.62X39 will easily go through interior walls, to say nothing of a 7.62X51 unless frangible rounds are used. In real world CQB over penetration is a huge issue. It seems to be the overwhelming choice of "professionals". When I think of CQB, the HK MP5 always comes to mind. ![]()
